November 16-Day 19-
Weighed in at 234.2 today. So I lost a pound last week. That's not fantastic in my opinion, but glad at least I lost a pound. I'm still wondering if the scale is a little misleading right now. We read last night from some guys blog that he lost 5 pounds during his first recovery week. He went to fewer carbs. I might try the same thing for this week at least. However, I'll have to start incorporating more carbs as I move into the second month. I have to say, I'm so excited for recovery week. My body needs it. Everything hurts, I feel pretty beat up like I used to at the end of a long season. Pretty pathetic that I'm this out of shape, but I'm getting there little by little.
Here's to week 4, I would be thrilled If I could get to that 230 spot my next Monday.
It's now 12:00am, Cam and I just finished yoga. Kind of nice starting the week out with Yoga, all though I was surprised how sore I was. Should be a good week to recover. We both talked about doing one more week, so we could use the thanksgiving week as recover week, but I was so sore today, I think it was good we took the recovery week this week. I ate pretty well today, my diet was much hirer on protein and I've stayed away from peanut butter. I think though, my biggest stumbling block if I want to really succeed is the pop. I'm off and on with the caffeine, but it's pop in general that I can't get off, so as a result I'm lucky to drink 2 glasses of water a day. That's terrible. I suspect if I quit pop all together, and watched the milk intake that I would see a major difference in my results. That being said, the trick is to do it. We'll see.
